NelsonHall recognizes Capgemini as a Leader in its 2022 NEAT vendor evaluation for Supply Chain Transformation

27 Sep 2022

NelsonHall has identified Capgemini as a Leader in its 2022 NEAT Vendor Evaluation for Supply Chain Transformation, due to its ability to deliver immediate benefits to its clients and capability to meet future client requirements quickly.

Capgemini delivers supply chain transformation services under its frictionless supply chain proposition targeting integrated supply chain and “ultimate” transformation.

This NelsonHall Vendor Evaluation & Assessment Tool (NEAT) analyzes the performance of vendors offering supply chain transformation services. The NEAT tool enables strategic sourcing managers to assess the capability of vendors across a range of criteria and business situations and identify the best performing vendors overall.

NEAT evaluates vendors on their “ability to deliver immediate benefit” and their “ability to meet client future requirements,” vendors are identified in one of four categories: Leaders, High Achievers, Innovators, and Major Players.

Capgemini’s strengths – according to NelsonHall – include its strong demand planning capability backed by proprietary demand forecasting planning, its supply chain transformation capabilities, and its willingness to contractually commit to bonus-malus deals

Capgemini delivers these strengths through its edge-to-edge process integration capabilities – for example, its integration and optimization outside of the classical supply chain scope, which encompass downstream processes with customers, and upstream processes with raw material and critical components providers, in addition to other external stakeholders.

NelsonHall also notes Capgemini’s ability to create a lean organization through its ability to enhance processes with artificial intelligence (AI). It does this by eliminating wasteful processes and consolidating key processes, which enables its clients’ supply chain and operations teams to undertake more value-adding activities – helping eliminate friction between departments and reducing the overall cost of operations.

Finally, Capgemini’s use of simplified, connected technology (for example, simplifying and standardizing the core ERP, building a scalable and flexible edge-to-edge data lake, and stacking high functional supply chain solutions), and its ability to fully integrate it with key processes, data, and user experience perspectives, ensures its clients’ technology is more agile than others operating in the marketplace.
