Na de reset van 2020 ging onze innovatiedag dit jaar over het terugnemen van de controle, bepalen wat we in de toekomst willen. Hoe ontsluiten we de waarde van technologie om te kunnen transformeren en om de toekomst te krijgen die we willen?  Dit gaat over de ‘spirit’ van mensen, die zich inzetten om menselijke energie te ontketenen via technologie voor een duurzame en inclusieve toekomst.

Wij kijken met een optimistische blik naar de toekomst. Met meer drive dan ooit om te innoveren, opnieuw uit te vinden en verantwoordelijkheid te nemen. Nu is het tijd om de toekomst te definiëren!

Nadine Bongaerts, Synthetisch Bioloog. Zij zal haar visie geven op “Synbio”: Natuur versus opvoeding. Natuur versus technologie. Natuur versus mensheid. De natuur lijkt voortdurend tegen iets anders te worden uitgespeeld. Wat als, in plaats van de tegenstander te zijn in deze eindeloze spelletjes, de natuur de inspiratie was voor vooruitgang: een natuurlijker soort technologie!

Deborah Nas: Professor of strategic design for technology-based innovation. Deborah Nas neemt ons mee in ontwikkelingen als digitalisering, artificial intelligence, internet of things, robotica en nieuwe productietechnieken zoals 3D printen die ons werk en leven voorgoed gaan veranderen. We staan aan de vooravond van een tijdperk vol baanbrekende ontdekkingen. Dit biedt nieuwe kansen voor bedrijven en organisaties, maar hoe deze tijdig te signaleren én te benutten?

Na de talkshow waren er breakout sessies: The Innovation Talks.

Future of Energy | Nieuwe bedrijfsmodellen in de veranderende ecosystemen bieden een groot groeipotentieel voor energie- en utilitiesbedrijven. Welke zullen winstgevend zijn, welke zullen het meest relevant zijn? Wat zal hun impact zijn op inkomsten en bruto marges? En hoe ziet de routekaart naar succes eruit? Tijdens deze breakout vond een paneldiscussie plaats met Equigy en Enexis.

Sustainable banking & insurance | Bedrijven over de hele wereld zoeken naar manieren om te voldoen aan de uitdagende doelstellingen voor de uitstoot van broeikasgassen. Banken en verzekeraars kunnen het voortouw nemen en het goede voorbeeld geven door duurzame diensten, financieringsmechanismen en investeringsbeginselen vast te stellen.
