My name is Abhishek Komurlekar. I am currently working as an intern at Capgemini.

What motivated you to join Capgemini?

I successfully completed regular schooling followed by a Bachelors’ program and even studied Graphic Designing and Digital Marketing. During my undergraduate studies, I was happy to learn about inclusive hiring initiative at Capgemini. Despite my neurodivergence, this was the right opportunity for me to apply as an Intern, with my training in Software Testing, including ISTQB certification training, and gain valuable experience in a field of my choice.

How has Capgemini supported you?

I was welcomed to the team wholeheartedly. Through employee knowledge transfer sessions, professional job coaching assistance, and by organizing ‘Inclusion Circles’ to train peers and managers on neurodiversity, Capgemini has supported my professional journey at every step of the way.

How was your experience working at Capgemini so far?

With constant support from peers, managers, and the team at large, working at Capgemini ensures clarity at the workplace to achieve good work efficiency in a field I have been trained in and am happy to pursue.

What is the one thing you like most at Capgemini and why?

Working at Capgemini as part of the professional mainstream, I feel connected, included and able to lead a life of dignity, which is one of the fundamental rights guaranteed under the Indian Constitution.

What message would you give to individuals who want to work at Capgemini?
