L’Innovateur 7.0

We’re back with the seventh season of L’Innovateur, a prestigious campus case challenge for India’s top nine business schools. As a key initiative of our E.L.I.T.E. General Management Program, this event is designed to push boundaries, inspire creativity, and offer students an authentic experience of solving real-world business problems.

About the Challenge: Participants will be tasked with crafting inventive and feasible solutions to pressing business challenges across a variety of industrial sectors. The goal of L’Innovateur is to give students a unique opportunity to leverage technology to address business challenges while experiencing the kind of work Capgemini specializes in and understanding what we look for in an E.L.I.T.E. candidate.

Participation:

  • Open to second-year business school students from the top nine business schools in India.
  • Students can apply in teams of three members, with all members belonging to the same institute.
  • One individual cannot be a member of more than one participating team.
  • After the first round, three teams from each institute will be shortlisted for the campus round.
  • Top 9 teams across all campuses will advance to the grand finale.
  • Details of the grand finale will be communicated to the shortlisted teams through their respective placement committees.

Submission Details:

Round 1: Teams must select one of the cases from the set of cases floated to them and submit a two-slide PowerPoint presentation outlining their understanding of the case and the proposed solution.

Round 2: Three teams will be shortlisted from each campus, who will have to submit a detailed presentation of 5-6 slides along with a video explaining the different dimensions of the case, the issue, their approach, research methodology and the innovation they are proposing.

Round 3: 9 teams across campuses will be selected for grand finale where they will present their solutions to the Capgemini senior leadership.

Rewards & Opportunities:

  • Winning Team: Prizes worth INR 3,00,000.
  • First Runners-up: Prizes worth INR 2,25,000.
  • Second Runners-up: Prizes worth INR 1,75,000.
  • Pre-Placement Interview (PPI) opportunities for national winners, runners-up, and exceptional candidates from other teams, subject to final placement criteria.

Terms and Conditions:

  • Each team to have a maximum of three members from the same institute.
  • Communication will be sent to the qualifying teams for further rounds.
  • All decisions related to the event taken by Capgemini are final and no correspondence/ communication would be entertained from any entrant in this regard. Capgemini has the right to disqualify an entrant if it has reasonable grounds to believe that the entrant has breached any of the competition rules.
