– Tell us about your role. What does a day in your life at Capgemini look like?

As a senior data scientist, I work with the client to assess their business needs, review their existing data sources, and create or modify pipelines to inform machine learning algorithms. I also am involved in some internal initiatives, through which I’ve been able to explore more of the company and meet people across business units. A typical day in my life involves a blend of client work, internal meetings, and doing training modules on our internal training platform that includes many online courses.

– What’s the best thing about working at Capgemini?

The best thing about working at Capgemini is the people I’ve had the opportunity to meet, both internally and on the client side. I feel that every single one of my coworkers genuinely cares about me, my progress, and wants to see me succeed, and I’ve met some incredible people during my client work as well.

– What makes you proud to work at Capgemini?

I can directly see the impact that we’re having on our clients, and I appreciate the immediate feedback they are able to give in meetings so that we can course correct or continue as planned. There is also a significant opportunity for growth, both technically and personally.

– How are you working towards the future you want?

I appreciate how Capgemini has allowed me to work towards my career goals of furthering my technical skill sets. I have been making an active effort with Capgemini’s support to join projects that align with what I want in my future, either with where I see myself growing personally, technically, or otherwise.

– What advice would you give to someone joining Capgemini?
