Sam Genway

Emerging Technologies Lead at Hybrid Intelligence, Head of Industries at Capgemini Quantum Lab
Sam leads quantum computing R&D at Capgemini’s Quantum Lab. With a background in theoretical quantum physics, he co-founded an accelerator on emerging technologies within Capgemini and has worked with several of the largest, most innovative companies to develop their capabilities and enhance their operations. Sam holds an MSci from the University of Cambridge and a PhD in Theoretical Physics from Imperial College London.

Iftikhar Ahmed

Quantum Lead, Capgemini Invent
Iftikhar is the Quantum Lead at Capgemini Invent, where he spearheads Invent’s global quantum initiatives and is part of the Next Frontier Portfolio Team. As a Core Team Member of Capgemini’s Quantum Lab Iftikhar has been at the forefront of the lab’s go-to-market strategy since its establishment, overseeing the funding and management of some of the lab’s most significant projects. In addition, Iftikhar is also responsible for the Quantum Lab’s advisory services. He works closely with clients and Capgemini Account Teams to identify how quantum technologies can be used to meet the business needs of our most ambitious clients and help them to best progress in their Quantum Journey.

James Cruise

Head of Quantum Algorithms, Cambridge Consultants 
James is the technical lead for quantum computing at Cambridge Consultants, developing capability to deliver early commercial value for clients. He brings together deep technical expertise in quantum computing with an understanding of clients’ challenges to identify and develop key value propositions. James has a particular interest in understanding how to deliver value through practical hybrid quantum-classical computing and supporting the most ambitious clients in bringing about the quantum revolution sooner. He has an Math and a PhD in Mathematics from the University of Cambridge.
